This accredited self-study course ensures that participants will fully comprehend the ITIL 4 concepts, and are also able to apply them in a real world context. The course presents the candidate several scenarios of Axle Car Hire, a fictional company that faces different challenges to move from a traditional business model to a digital model. The candidate is asked to analyze each scenario and apply the learned concepts and principles.
Purpose and Audience
The purpose of this certification is to assess whether the candidate can demonstrate sufficient recall and understanding of the ITIL 4 service management framework, as described in the syllabus below, to be awarded the ITIL 4 Foundation qualification. The ITIL 4 Foundation qualification is a prerequisite for the ITIL 4 higher level qualifications, which assess the ability to apply concepts understanding of the relevant parts of the ITIL framework in context.

Important information about the exam
The exam consists of forty (40) multiple-selection questions and has a duration of sixty (60) minutes. To pass the exam and achieve the ITIL® Foundation certification, the learner must answer a minimum of twenty-six (26) questions correctly equivalent to 65%. Upon successful passing of the ITIL 4 Foundation exam, the student will be recognized with 2 credits in the ITIL qualification scheme.
